ABOUT ME

My alter-ego is Shunya. I am a Corporate slave, having worked in both the City and Wall street. I have done my best to maintain my anonymity lest the political correctness gestapo find me out -- let alone HR. I continue to work in the C-suites of Corporate America, I have done degrees in Engineering, MBA, worked for bulge-bracket institutions, have more mortgages than Clapton has guitars, wife, kids, cars, vacations, daily Amazon deliveries -- yet still operate in fear of getting fired and not being able to snort on those lines of continuous consumption..

I think only people of a certain age are able to look back and realize how fat, dumb and unhappy (FDU) they must have been. My 20 year old self was a moron. My 30 year old self was delusional. My 40 year old self was balls deep in getting his arse kicked. My 50 year old self -- looks back and thinks "Oh Buddha" -- I might be reaching a point of inflection -- it seems the quantum of learning in each decade has been doubling every year -- God help me in this next phase. The point of inflection means -- the curve gets steeper and the arse kicking get more frequent and harder -- however now as I continue to to get my own innards re-wired -- maybe I can be of service to others who are just beginning to evolve through their FDU phases.

Honestly, our lives are dripping with an emulsion of irony, fecal matter and frankly black comedy. The Universe or whoever writes the scripts of the movies we are all starring in -- is basically Frankie Boyle or lets say Chris Rock -- twisted but hilarious. Ask any of my friends -- the thought of anyone discussing their private thoughts with me -- is comical. But, I shit you not, it actually works. I have been humbled with the opportunity to learn so much from how my clients examine their own subconsciousness and embark on their journies of self-discovery and self-healing.

My own evolution has progressed from being a dissonant Neo in the Matrix, through  the opiates of mantra meditation and yoga, through insight meditation to the blessing of finding a Shaman Brother and Maestro, a Bodhisattva teacher (who is a person-of-light) to accelerate my own self-examination but also a modality by which to help others. As well as a holy man from whom I hope to continue learning.
